Right Door Is Open Message

TEST CONDITION(S)
1. Code B334 is not set (PCM UART dataline is OK).

FAILURE CONDITION(S)
1. PRNDL is OK (no Code B127 set).
2. Engine is running.
3. Transmission not in Park or Neutral.
4. Right door ajar switch input is low.
5. Vehicle speed over 5 mph.
or
1. RIGHT DOOR IS OPEN failure code already.
2. Right door ajar switch input is low.

ACTION TAKEN
1. Display the RIGHT DOOR is OPEN message or; the IPC.
2. Activate the slow chime.

DESCRIPTION
The BCM provides system voltage to the right door ajar circuit, and the right door ajar switch provides the single path to ground. The BCM supplies and internally monitors the voltage level of circuit at pin 3D14. When the right door ajar circuit is open the BCM will detect system voltage, but if the right door ajar switch provides a path to ground (right door open). the BCM will detect that the circuit has been grounded. Once the BCM has determined that all of the failure conditions have been met, it will send the "RIGHT DOOR IS OPEN" message to the IPC. The BCM will also activate the slow paced chime on the chime module.
