TEST CONDITIONS

Check driver select switch input pins for valid input combination:

1. "Soft" input: pin C4 grounded and both pins C5 and C6 open.

2. "Auto" input: pin C5 grounded and both pins C4 and C6 open.

3. "Sport" input: pin C6 grounded and both pins C4 and C3 open.

FAULT CONDITIONS

If all three switch inputs are open or more than one are closed to ground (active) for more than 3.0 seconds, then turn on all position L.E.D.'S and set code.

ACTION TAKEN

Record driver select switch error and turn on all three L.E.D.'S,
Default to "Auto" setting until a valid switch input combination is detected.

DESCRIPTION

A driver select switch input error is detected when more than one switch input (connector pins C4, C5 and C6) are asserted (grounded) or all three are unasserted (open) for more than 3.0 seconds consecutively. If a driver select switch input error is detected, the system will default to the "Auto" switch setting, activate all position L.E.D.'s and set code 33.
