Heater Core: Service and Repair

HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT

Heater Hoses:

TOOL REQUIRED
J 37097 Mubea Hose Clamp Pliers.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Drain cooling system. Service and Repair
2. Heater hoses from heater core, using J 37097.
3. Retaining screws and A/C temperature valve actuator. Locations
4. Retaining screws and heater core cover.
5. Retaining screws and heater core from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Heater core into vehicle and attaching screws.
^ Tighten screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in).
2. Heater core cover and attaching screws.
^ Tighten screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb in).
3. Retaining screws and A/C temperature valve actuator.
4. Heater hoses to heater core using tool J 37097.
5. Fill cooling system.
