Condition

Some owners may experience a cold engine start and stall and/or a light acceleration tip-in hesitation on a cold engine.

Correction

A new flash prom calibration has been released to service vehicles which experience the conditions mentioned above. The new calibrations add fuel to the Throttle Position Sensor enrichment algorithm below coolant temperatures of 80°C (176°F).

The complete listing of new calibration numbers will be available for Tech line Tools starting with the October CD release from GM Service Technology Group (STG).

Important:
Do not attempt to order the calibration numbers from GMSPO. The calibrations are programmed into the vehicle's Powertrain Control Module via a Techline Tool device.
