Troubleshooting Hints

Perform before beginning System Diagnosis
1. Check the PWR ACC Circuit Breaker.
2. Check the CTSY Fuse by visual inspection.
3. Check for mechanical binds in the Door Lock System.
4. If one of the Door Lock Motors does not operate properly, but the other Door Lock Motors function normally, check the wiring to the suspect motor. If the wiring is correct, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace tile motor
5. Check that ground G3O5 is clean and tight.

Important:
^ For diagnosis of Power Door Locks on vehicles equipped with Keyless Entry.
6. Check that the Dome Light Switch is in the "OFF" position

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD"in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should he checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
