Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied through the MULTI-FUNCTION ALARM IN-LINE Fuse to the Park/Neutral Position Switch (L4 VIN 4) or through the Transaxle Range Switch (V6 VIN M). When ever the gear selector lever is shifted to "REVERSE," the Switch closes and voltage is applied to the Backup Lamps.
