Fuel Door: Description and Operation

With the gear selector in PARK position, voltage is applied from relay center fuse #2, through the fuel door release relay to the trunk lid/fuel door release switch. The switch is grounded through the park/neutral position switch. Pushing the fuel door release switch energizes the relay, which in turn actuates the fuel door release solenoid. Voltage is provided to the solenoid from relay center fuse #1.
