Troubleshooting Hints - Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS:
1. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuse #1B.
2. Visually inspect Cruise Shift Interlock/Brake Switch connector and associated wiring.
3. Before component replacement, check for poor terminal contact at component and related harness connectors.
4. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
5. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. (Refer to General Troubleshooting Procedures) Diagnostic Aids
