Wiper Motor And Transmission Assemblies:

J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer (Typical Usage):

Remove or Disconnect

Tool Required:
J 39232 Wiper Transmission Separator

1. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
2. Top vent grille panel.
3. Transmission drive link socket from wiper motor crank arm ball using J 39232.
4. Six screws (20).
5. Transmission assembly (16) by guiding it through access hole in shroud upper panel.

Install or Connect

Tool Required:
J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Transmission assembly (16) by positioning assembly in plenum chamber through the shroud upper panel openings.
2. Six screws (20).

Tighten
^ Screws (20) to 8 N.m (71 lb. in.).

3. Transmission drive link socket to wiper motor crank arm ball using J 39529.
4. Top vent grille panel.
5. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
