Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Luggage carrier.
2. Screws from bottom front of luggage carrier
3. High-mounted stoplamp cover by sliding forward.
4. Socket from high-mounted stoplamp.
5. Bulb from socket, if replacing.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Bulb into socket, if removed.
2. Socket to high-mounted stoplamp.
3. Cover by engaging tab with slot and sliding rearward.
4. Screws to bottom front of luggage carrier.

Tighten
^ Screws to 3 N.m (27 lb. in.).

5. Luggage carrier.
