Operation

The Daytime Running Lamp will turn "ON" when all of the following conditions are met.
^ Ignition switch is in the "RUN" position.
^ Headlamp switch is "OFF"
^ Sensor indicates "Day" condition.
^ Parking brake override is not activated.

Important
^ Parking brake override is activated when the ignition switch is turned from "OFF" to "RUN" while the parking brake is set. The exterior lamps will automatically switch to the appropriate mode when the parking brake is released.

The Daytime Running Lamps will turn "OFF" and the headlamps, taillamps, and park lamps will turn "ON" when all of the following conditions are met:
^ Ignition switch is in the "RUN" position.
^ Sensor indicates "Night" condition.
^ Parking brake override is not activated.

Important
^ Parking brake override is activated when the ignition switch is turned from "OFF" to "RUN"" while the parking brake is set. The exterior lamps will automatically switch to the appropriate mode when the parking brake is released.

The headlamps will turn "OFF" and the taillamps and park lamps will remain "ON" when all of the following conditions are met:
^ Sensor indicates "Night" condition.
^ Parking brake override not activated.

Important
^ Parking brake override is activated when the ignition switch is turned from "OFF," to "RUN" while the parking brake is set. The exterior lamps will automatically switch to the appropriate mode when the parking brake is released.
