Cruise Control Cable Adjustment

ADJUST
1. Disengage adjustment lock tab on cruise control cable by lifting straight up (cable will move freely in and out of adjuster when lock is disengaged).
2. Verify TBI is at closed position.
3. Remove any slack in cruise control cable by moving in or out of adjuster.

NOTE: Cruise control throttle body cam will rest against throttle lever when cable is properly adjusted.

4. Engage adjustment lock tab by pushing down.

INSPECT
^ Verify that TBI cam returns to closed position.

Important
^ Do not remove adjustment lock tab from cable. If the adjustment lock tab becomes separated from cruise control cable, the cruise control cable must be replaced.
