Circuit Operation

With the ignition switch in RUN or START, voltage is applied through the I/P Fuse Block SIG/BUL/PS BTSI/LCM/LCM Fuse to the Park/Neutral Position Switch. When the gear selector lever is placed in REVERSE, battery voltage is applied to the LH and RH backup lamps. Since the backup lamps are permanently grounded at G402, they will remain lit until the gear selector lever is moved out of the REVERSE position.
