Preliminary Inspection

Improper operation can be caused by one or more mechanical or electrical. problems. Before beginning diagnosis, visually inspect for the following:
1. Disconnected or damaged wiring.
2. Misadjusted cruise cable.
3. Binding or misadjusted cruise control brake switch or brake switch.
If any such faults are noticed, repair as needed.
