Low Washer Fluid Indicator - Range on/Off

This data indicates what message is being sent from the Body Function Controller (BFC) to the Instrument Cluster to control the LOW WASHER Fluid indicator illumination. On, is displayed when the Body Function Controller (BFC) is commanding the Instrument Cluster to illuminate the LOW Washer Fluid indicator. Off, is displayed when the Body Function Controller (BFC) is commanding the Instrument Cluster not to illuminate the LOW Washer Fluid indicator. The Low Washer Fluid Level Switch, attached to the Washer Solvent Reservoir, is a discrete input to the Body Function Controller (BFC) which will close (provides a ground) when the Washer Fluid level drops below the switch for at least 30 seconds. The Body Function Controller (BFC) in turn sends a data message on the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) data line to command the Instrument Cluster to illuminate the LOW Washer Fluid indicator. The LOW Washer Fluid indicator will be commanded off when the Low Washer Fluid Level Switch input goes inactive (fluid level OK) for 30 seconds. In the event of a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) data line loss, the LOW WASHER Fluid indicator will not illuminate unless, the LOW WASHER Fluid indicator was illuminated prior to the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) data line failure.
