Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. For a no crank or no start condition, refer to the PASS-Key(R) II diagnosis. The Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD) system does not affect engine starting. Testing and Inspection
2. Before beginning any operation check, make sure the following components and circuits work properly:
^ Park lights.
^ Low beam headlights.
^ Horn.
^ Power door locks.
3. When an intermittent problem exists, check connectors for proper terminal contact.
