Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Disable the SIR.
2. Remove the defroster grille.
3. Remove the cluster trim plate.
4. Remove the upper trim pad fasteners (1,2).
5. Remove the upper trim pad.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the upper trim pad.
2. Install the right side upper trim pad fasteners (2).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten
Tighten the right side upper trim pad fasteners to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the upper trim pad fasteners (1).

Tighten
Tighten the upper trim pad fasteners to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the cluster trim plate.
5. Install the defroster grille.
6. Enable the SIR.
