Instrument Panel (IP) - Tie Bar / Cross Vehicle Beam

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the tie bar.
3. Remove the bolts from the bracket joining the tie bar to the HVAC module (3).




4. Remove the bolts joining the tie bar (1) to the front of the dash (2).
5. Remove the tie bar.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the tie bar (1) to the front of the dash (2).




2. Install the bolts joining the tie bar to the HVAC module bracket (3).
3. Connect the wiring harness to the tie bar.
4. Install the instrument panel.
