Fast Forward Button (FWD)

The FWD (fast forward) button is a non-latching momentary contact control that serves a dual function with the radio preset button number 2. Pressing the FWD button moves the tape in the forward direction at a rapid speed until you perform 1 of the following actions:
^ Press the FWD button a second time.
^ Press the program button.

During fast forward, the audio reverts to the radio. If an operator change does not occur, fast forward continues until the end of the tape is reached. The unit then returns to the play mode. A program arrow blinks while in the fast forward mode.
