Seek

The SEEK push-button is a rocker type switch which seeks up or down the CD tracks in the direction pressed. This button is shared with the frequency seek function in the radio mode and with the cassette seek function in dual playback applications. Pressing the top portion of the rocker causes the following actions:
^ The audio mutes.
^ The deck moves to the beginning of the next track.
^ The deck begins playing at the start of the next track.

Each successive momentary press of this button will increment the track number by one.

Pressing the bottom portion of the rocker after 8 seconds of a track causes the following actions:
^ The audio mutes.
^ The deck moves to the beginning of the current track.
^ The deck begins playing at the start of the current track.

If you press the bottom portion of the rocker within the first 8 seconds of a track, the following actions occur:
^ The audio mutes.
^ The deck moves to the beginning of the previous track.
^ The deck begins playing at the start of the previous track.
Every momentary press of this button will decrement the track number by one.
