SIR Steering Wheel Module Coil - Assemble

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE





1. To Install the SIR coil assembly: Align the block tooth on the race and upper shaft assembly to the 12 o'clock position.

Important: The steering column must be in the 12 o'clock position.





2. Install the wave washer (3).
3. Install the SIR coil assembly (2).
4. Install the retaining ring (1).





5. Install the SIR coil assembly connector to the fused jumper assembly connector.





6. Pop the wire harness assembly into the wire harness strap (1).
7. Install the upper and lower covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble - Off Vehicle.
