Sunroof / Moonroof: Service Precautions

Do not use an abrasive cleaner on the roof vent window. Using an abrasive cleaner may scratch and permanently damage the tinted coating on the inside of the window.

Apply a silicone lubricant to the weatherstrip for the following reasons:
^ In order to prolong the weatherstrip life
^ In order to help seal the window
^ In order to assist in eliminating squeaks
Use the silicone lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or the equivalent.
