3X Crank Sensor

Scan tool displays 1600-10,000 RPM. This signal is calculated from the 7X pulses and is fed to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) by the ignition control module. This is used by the PCM in order to calculate RPM at engine speeds above 1600 RPM and to initiate injector pulses.
