Door Ajar Warning

The radio activates the door ajar audible warning as requested by the IPC. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the radio indicating the chime frequency and the duration. The door ajar warning sounds and the DIC displays the XX DOOR AJAR message when the following occur:
^ The Driver Door Module (DDM) detects that the driver door is open (signal circuit is low). The IPC receives a class 2 message from the DDM indicating the door ajar status.
^ The IPM detects that the key is in the ignition. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the IPM indicating the key-in-ignition status.
^ The vehicle is not in park or neutral. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating the gear position.
