Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Outer Trim Cover Replacement).




2. Open the IP storage compartment and remove the two fasteners that secure the right IP trim plate to the IP.
3. Remove the right IP trim plate by pulling toward the rear of the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector for the storage compartment light switch.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the electrical connector for the IP storage compartment light.




2. Install the right IP trim plate into the IP by pushing the trim plate forward into the IP.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the two fasteners located in the IP storage compartment opening that secure the IP trim plate to the IP.

Tighten the fasteners to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Remove the right IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Outer Trim Cover Replacement).
