Check Gas Cap

The DIC displays the CHECK GAS CAP - 36 message when the PCM detects a malfunction in the evaporative emissions system or the gas cap is not seated properly. The DIC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the radio in order to activate an audible warning.
