Transmission Hot, Idle Engine

The DIC displays the TRANS HOT... IDLE ENG - 6 message when the PCM determines that the transmission fluid temperature is greater than or equal to 135°C (275°F). The DIC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the radio in order to activate an audible warning.
