Audible Warnings Description and Operation

The radio activates the turn signal on warning as requested by the IPC. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the radio indicating the chime rate. The turn signal on warning sounds and the DIC displays the TURN SIGNAL ON? message when the following occur:
^ The IPC detects that the one of the turn signals is on.
^ The vehicle travels more than 0.8 mi (1.29 km).
