Blower Motor: Service and Repair
BLOWER MOTOR REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right insulator.
2. Release the IP harness retainer and position the harness aside.
3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the blower motor cooling hose.
5. Remove the blower motor mounting screws.
6. Remove the blower motor.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the blower motor.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the blower motor screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.3 N.m (12 lb in).
3. Connect the blower motor cooling hose.
4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
5. Install the IP harness into the harness retainer.
6. Install the right insulator.
