Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover


Removal Procedure





1. Use the J 38778 to remove the left side insulator retainers.




2. Disconnect the courtesy lamp from the IP insulator. Turn the lamp 1/4 turn counterclockwise.




3. Remove the left side insulator from the stud at the accelerator pedal.
4. Remove the left side insulator.


Installation Procedure

1. Position the left side insulator to the instrument panel.




2. Install the courtesy lamp to the insulator. Secure the lamp by rotating 1/4 turn clockwise.




3. Install the LH instrument panel insulator to the stud at the accelerator pedal.




4. Install the left side insulator retainers.
