Overfill Limiting Valve

The overfill limiting valve, located in the engine compartment on some models, is not serviceable. In the event that replacement is required, cut the old valve out using a tubing cutter. Flare the end of the existing tube to ensure a good vapor seal and install the replacement valve in the same position as the old valve. If overfill limiting valve is part of the vapor separator, the entire vapor separator must be replaced if the overfill limiting valve requires replacement. It is important that all overfill limiting valves be installed as vertical as possible, in order to function properly.
