The following procedures cover the dealer installation of the front license plate bracket on subject vehicles. A kit which contains the bracket bolts and plastic nuts is included with each car.

FIGURE 1:

INSTALLING 1984 VISTA FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET MB325956 (FIGURE 1)

1. Position license plate bracket in the upward position and align the three mounting holes with the bumper holes located in the underside rear horizontal surface of the front bumper.

2. Install and securely tighten the three mounting bolts MS200311.

3. Install the two plastic license plate mounting nuts MA165401 into the square holes at the top of the license plate bracket.

1. Remove the bolt holding air dam bracket to the underside rear horizontal surface of front bumper.

2. Slide front license plate bracket between bumper surface and air dam bracket with license bracket in the upward position.

3. Align license plate bracket mounting holes with bumper holes and install the three mounting bolts MS200311 loosely.

4. Reinstall air dam bracket bolt loosely.

5. Tighten the three mounting bolts and the air dam bracket bolt securely.

6. Install the two plastic license plate mounting nuts MA155401 into the square holes at the top of the license plate bracket.
