Beginning in July, 1984, MMC began using a second supplier for oil filters in production on all car lines except D-50 pick-up trucks equipped with diesel engines. The alternate filter is identified by PN

MD084963.


For service parts, use the present replacement filter, PN MD031805, as a replacement for either MD084963 or MD031805.
