22D Power Module Circuit

1. With the engine Off, disconnect the 10-way connector from the power module.
2. Connect a voltmeter between cavity No. 8 of the 10-way connector and ground.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the Run position.
4. If voltmeter reads within one volt of the battery voltage, replace the power module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the power module make sure the terminal tabs in cavity No. 8 are not spread apart so they cannot touch the power module pin.
5. If voltmeter reads 0 volts, repair wire of cavity No. 8 for an open circuit to the alternator.
