Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect stabilizer bar from lower control arm, then from frame.
2. Disconnect strut bars from lower control arms, then from frame.
3. Remove strut bar and/or stabilizer bar from vehicle.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten stabilizer bar to frame bushing attaching nuts until distance from top of threads to top of nuts is 0.31-0.39 inch. Tighten stabilizer bar to lower arm bushing attaching nuts until distance from top of threads to top of nuts is 0.31-0.39 inch on two wheel drive models, or 0.51-0.59 inch on four wheel drive models.
5. Tighten strut bar attaching nut until distance between the end of strut bar and the front surface of the locknut is 3.07 inches.
