1N Logic Module Ground Circuits

1. Place ignition switch in the Off position.
2. Disconnect electrical connectors from logic module.
3. Connect a digital ohmmeter between logic module white electrical connector terminal No. 24 and ground and note reading.
4. Connect ohmmeter between logic module black electrical terminal Nos. 7 and 8 and ground. Note ohmmeter readings.
5. If ohmmeter indicates continuity, with a resistance reading of less than .5 ohm, at all three test connections, proceed as follows: If problem exists with engine cold proceed to Test 13 . 13A Calibrations Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
If problem exists with engine warm, proceed to Test 16. 16A Calibration Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
6. If ohmmeter indicates no continuity at one or more of the the three test connections, check wiring from logic module terminals indicated for open circuit.
7. If ohmmeter indicates continuity with a resistance of more than .5 ohm, check indicated circuits for cause of high resistance.
