Barometric Pressure Sensor: Description and Operation

The pressure sensor, installed on the AFS, senses ambient barometric pressure and converts this pressure into a voltage which is sent to the ECU. The ECU uses this signal to compute the altitude at which the vehicle is operating. This information is sent to the ECU for controlling fuel delivery time and idle speed.
