Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

1. Loosen or remove the hose clamps on the fuel filter.
2. Wrap filter in a shop towel to absorb any fuel spilled when the filter is removed and remove the filter.
3. Using new hoses and clamps install the hoses on the filter and tighten clamps.
4. Position the new filter correctly for direction of flow, and connect the hoses.
5. Ensure that there are no sharp edges touching hoses and that hoses are not pinched or kinked, and tighten hose clamps.
6. START the engine and inspect for leaks.
