Window Glass: Adjustments

Front Door Glass Adjusting Points:

FRONT DOOR GLASS
1. Remove door trim panel and plastic air shield.
2. Loosen fasteners (7), (17), (18), (19), (20).
3. Lower glass fully down, then raise glass to the full up position and torque fastener (18) then fasteners (17) and (19) to 10-18 Nm (90-115 in. lb.).
4. Lightly tighten fastener (20).
5. Lower window to full down position, torque fastener (7) then fastener (20) to 10-18 Nm (90-115 in. lb.).
6. Check window operation then cement plastic air shield in place.
7. Install door trim panel.

Rear Glass Adjustment Points:

REAR DOOR GLASS
1. Remove door trim panel and plastic air shield.
2. Loosen fasteners (14), (19), (22).
3. Raise glass to full up position and torque lift channel fasteners (19) to 5 Nm (40 in. Lb.).
4. Lower window to full down position. After verifying that the division bar and window glass are mating squarely, torque fasteners (14) and (22) to 10-18 Nm (90-115 in. lb.).
5. Cement plastic air shield to door inner panel.
6. Install door trim panel.
