Operation of the DRBII
KEY FUNCTIONS"YES OR {Down Arrow}" "NO OR {Up Arrow}" keys will move lines on the screen up or down allowing you to choose an item or scroll through all selections available.
"F1 & F2" keys are used to scroll through sensor displays.
"ATM" key will return you to the previous screen.
"ENTER" allows you to select a test or display. The flashing arrows must be on the display that you wish to select. Pressing "ENTER" in the sensor state display will cause the display to change from a 3 line display to a 1 line display.
"F3" key is used to display a help screen. This key may be used at any time.
"NUMBER KEYS" are used for choosing a display or test by the number for that test or display.
"READ/HOLD KEY" can be pressed to "freeze" any sensor display.
Pressing "MODE & ATM" keys at the same time will cause the DRBII to reset to the copyright screen.
"ERROR SCREENS" for DRBII operation indicate a problem with the DRBII.

HOW TO USE THE DRBII VOLT/OHMMETER
NOTE: The Volt/Ohmmeter function will not operate in the Read Fault Data or the Erase Fault Data section.
Making Voltage Measurements
1. Connect the red Volt/Ohmmeter test lead to the DRBII.
2. Press the Volt/Ohm key on the keypad once.
NOTE: The DRBII will remember what Test Mode you are in while in the Volt/Ohmmeter function and will return to that mode when you are done using the Volt/Ohm function.
3. Touch the test probe to the connector or wire to be measured and read the results on the DRBII display.
4. After all measurements have been made, press the Volt/Ohm key twice to return to the Test Mode you were in before you entered the Volt/Ohmmeter function.
Making Ohmmeter Measurements
1. Connect the red Volt/Ohmmeter test lead to the DRBII.
2. Press the Volt/Ohm key on the keypad twice.
NOTE: Because of the way the DRBII Ohmmeter is configured (one lead), you will only be able to test wires or components to ground.
3. Touch the red test probe to the wire or component you wish to test and read continuity to ground on the DRBII display.
4. After all measurements have been made, press the Volt/Ohm key once to return to the Test Mode you were in before you entered the Volt/Ohmmeter function.
USING A DIGITAL VOLT/OHMMETER FOR RESISTANCE MEASUREMENTS
When using a digital volt/ohmmeter to check resistance, make sure you determine any built in resistance of the meter by touching both leads together. For example, after touching leads together, meter indicates .6 ohms. This is your 0 point. When checking the circuit resistance 0 ohms would be 0.6 ohms and 1/2 ohm resistance would be 1.1 ohms.
