PRE-REMOVAL OPERATION
- Removal of cowl side trims





REMOVAL STEPS

1. Reverse the removal procedures to reinstall.

SERVICE POINTS OF REMOVAL





3. Removal Of Sunglass Pocket
Remove the sunglass pocket using a plastic trim tool.





13. Removal Of Instrument Panel Cover, Lower
Remove the lower instrument cover moving it forward.





17. Removal Of Speedometer Cable Adapter
1. Disconnect the speedometer cable at the transaxle end of the cable.
2. Pull the speedometer cable slightly toward the vehicle interior, release the lock by turning the adapter to the left or right, and then remove the adapter.





18. Disconnection Of Combination Meter Wiring Harness Connectors
Insert a flat-tip (-) screwdriver and open the tab of the connector, and then remove the harness connectors.





19. Removal Of Speaker Garnish (R.H.)
Remove the speaker garnish (R.H.) using a plastic trim tool.





21. Removal Of Side Defroster Grilles
Remove the side defroster grilles using a plastic trim tool.





22. Removal Of Clock Or Plug
Using a plastic trim tool, remove the clock (or the plug); for the clock, disconnect the wiring harness connector.

17. Removal Of Side Air Outlet
Remove the side air outlet using a plastic trim tool.





18. Removal Of Center Air Outlet
Remove the center air outlet using a plastic trim tool.





31. Removal Of Instrument Panel Pad
1. Remove the instrument panel wiring harness from the instrument panel.
2. Remove the mounting screws and nuts, and raise and twist the clips to remove the instrument panel from the instrument pad.

SERVICE POINT OF REASSEMBLY





27. Installation Of Center Plate
Bend the section marked A of the center plate and secure the center plate onto the instrument panel.
