Odometer: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The speedometer and odometer receive their information on the G7 circuit from the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). This circuit also provides a signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

Logic internal to the cluster steps the odometer at a high rate to indicate the proper mileage.
