Push Rod
The suspension design used on the front of this vehicle uses a component called a push rod. The push rod connects each front lower control arm to the left and right side rocker arm in the vehicle's front suspension. The push rod is used to transfer the jounce and rebound movements of the front lower control arms to the rocker arms. The rocket arms are used to actuate the shock absorbers and stabilizer bar on the front suspension of the vehicle. The push rod is attached to the rocker arm and lower control arm using a through bolt and nut. The push rod is an isolated component of the vehicle's front suspension. The push rod is isolated using a rubber bushing located in the lower control arm and a ball joint in the rocker arm. The push rod is a separate replaceable component of the front suspension of the vehicle.
