SYMPTOM
P0122 - THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO LOW
WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON and battery voltage above 10.4 volts.
SET CONDITION
Throttle Position Sensor voltage at the PCM is 0.1 volt for 1.3 seconds.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Transmission Control Module
- TPS voltage change not smooth
- TPS harness/connectors intermittent problem (d)
- TPS harness/connectors intermittent problem (c)
- TPS harness/connectors observable problem
- TPS 5 volt supply circuit open
- TPS 5 volt supply circuit shorted to ground
- TPS signal circuit shorted to ground
- TPS signal circuit shorted to sensor ground circuit
- Throttle position sensor (voltage > 1.0 volt with throttle closed)
- Powertrain Control Module
