Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Open hood, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Release the hood latch and open the hood.
3. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, pry hood ajar switch from the bracket.

Hood Ajar Switch:

4. Disconnect the wire connector from the hood ajar switch and remove the switch.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedure.
