Variable Induction Control Actuator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the negative battery cable.

Fig. 17 Short Runner Valve:

2. Remove link (Fig. 17).
3. Remove 2 fasteners.
4. Remove vacuum hose.
5. Remove valve.

INSTALLATION
1. Install vacuum hose.
2. Install 2 fasteners and tighten to 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.).
3. Install link.
4. Install the negative battery cable.
