Rear Suspension Trailing Link Inspection

Inspect the trailing link isolator bushings for signs of deterioration or damage. If the trailing link bushing that connects to the frame is deteriorated or damaged, replacement of the trailing link will be required. If the trailing link bushing that is pressed into the knuckle is deteriorated or damaged, isolator bushing replacement is required and can be replaced without the knuckle or link.
Inspect the trailing link for signs of contact with the ground or road debris which has bent or caused other damage to the trailing link. If the trailing link is bent or damaged the trailing link will require replacement. Do not ever attempt to repair or straighten a trailing link.
