INSTRUMENT PANEL TOP COVER

REMOVAL

Fig. 9:

1. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) or equivalent, gently pry rearward to disengage the top cover and release the clips (Fig. 9). Be careful not to damage the instrument panel covering.
2. Snap the end cover into the retaining slots.

WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. REFER TO RESTRAINT SYSTEMS, AIRBAG SYSTEM FIRST.

INSTALLATION

1. Position the top cover on the retaining clips.
2. Push firmly in and down on the cover until the clips are fully engaged to the cover. Inspect for damaged clips. If damaged, replace as necessary.
