Fuel Gauge: Service and Repair
REMOVALTemperature, Fuel, Oil, And Voltmeter Gauges
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove instrument panel top cover.
3. Remove instrument cluster.
4. Remove the back cover and release the flex circuit strips.

5. Release mask/lens retaining lock tabs by depressing and remove mask/lens (Fig. 3).

6. Remove screws attaching gauge housing and remove (Fig. 4).
7. Pull the gauge free of the PC board and remove.
INSTALLATION
Temperature, Fuel, Oil, And Voltmeter Gauges
1. Install the gauge set into the housing and pc board.
2. Install the gauge housing screws.
3. Snap the mask/lens into the retainers.
4. Install the back cover.
5. Install the Instrument Cluster into the instrument panel.
6. Install the instrument panel top cover.
7. Connect the battery negative cable.
