Cluster Printed Circuit Board Replacement

REMOVAL
Fuel and Temp PC Board
1. Open hood.
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove cluster.
4. Remove four cluster back cover retaining screws and remove the cover.
5. Disconnect the wire connector from the fuel and temp printed circuit board to the speedometer printed circuit board.

6. Remove two printed circuit board attaching screws and remove two screws located at the base of the connector (Fig. 6).
7. Remove PC board.

Speedometer PC Board Replacement
1. Open hood.
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove cluster.
4. Remove four cluster back cover retaining screws and remove the cover.

5. Disconnect the wire connectors and two wire strips from the speedometer printed circuit board (Fig. 8).

6. Remove three printed circuit board retaining screws and remove two screws located at the base of the connector (Fig. 9).
7. Loosen the screws on the fuel and temp printed circuit board to allow the speedometer printer circuit board to be removed.

8. Release locking tabs and remove speedometer PC board (Fig. 10).

Oil Gauge PC Board Replacement
1. Open hood.
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove cluster.
4. Remove four cluster back cover retaining screws and remove the cover.
5. Remove the speedometer printed circuit board.

6. Remove two oil gauge printed circuit board attaching screws (Fig. 7).
7. Remove PC board.

Voltmeter PC Board Replacement
1. Open hood.
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove cluster.
4. Remove wire connector from the speedometer PC board.
5. Remove two printed circuit board attaching screws (Fig. 6).
6. Remove PC board.

INSTALLATION
Fuel and Temp PC Board
1. Position board on cluster.
2. Install the two attaching screws and the two connector retainer screws.
3. Connect the wire connector from the fuel and temp circuit board to the speedometer printed circuit board.
4. Position the cluster back cover and install the four retaining screws.
5. Install the cluster in the instrument panel.
6. Connect the battery negative cable.

Speedometer PC Board Replacement
1. Position the speedometer printed circuit board and secure with locking tabs.
2. Tighten the screws on the fuel and temp printed circuit board.
3. Install the three retaining and two connector holddown screws.
4. Connect the wire connectors and two wire strips to the speedometer printed circuit board.
5. Position the cluster cover and install the four retaining screws.
6. Install the cluster in the instrument panel.
7. Connect the battery negative cable.

Oil Gauge PC Board Replacement
1. Position the oil gauge pc board and install the two retaining screws.
2. Install the speedometer pc board.
3. Install the cluster back cover and retaining screws.
4. Install the cluster in the instrument panel.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.

Voltmeter PC Board Replacement
1. Position the pc board and install the two retaining screws.
2. Connect the wire connector from the speedometer pc board.
3. Install the cluster in the instrument panel.
4. Connect the battery negative cable.
